The Great Lakes Paddle CHALLENGE lived up to its name yesterday for sure! Lots of respect for those that got in the water to paddle, wheather you compleated the race you registered for or not, that wind was a beast!

Looking to add a new inflatable SUP to your collection? Our friends at Slingshot SUP have donated not one, but TWO brand new iSUPs for a raffle at our event! Valued at over $1200 total…everything you need to hit the water is included.

Tickets are $5 each or 3 for $10 and can be purchased (cash only) at packet pickup Friday night or Saturday morning. The raffle is open to athletes, volunteers, sponsors, and spectators, but you must be present to win. With the limited time to buy tickets, your chances are pretty good to walk away with a new board!

100% of proceeds will go to the Great Lakes Surf Rescue Project to help with their lifesaving mission.

We're proud to once again partner with the Great Lakes Surf Rescue Project (GLSRP) as our official race charity.

Their mission says it all:
"To eradicate drownings by being the leader of Great Lakes water safety by providing training, public preparedness, and public awareness."

Sadly, Lake Michigan remains the deadliest of the five Great Lakes. As of July 19, there have already been 19 drownings in 2025, with several more individuals in critical or unknown condition.

A portion of race proceeds will support GLSRP’s lifesaving work, helping promote water safety and prevent future tragedies.
