The Witches On The Water Event Coordinators would like to announce a few changes for the 2026 event season.
As life gets busier and new commitments arise, our committee is going through a few transitions. After five fun-filled and dedicated years supporting this incredible cause, Jessica Hayes will be retiring completely from the committee. Deseray Hardwick will also be stepping back from most duties, while still helping with some social media.
Jessica and Deseray have both truly loved being part of Witches On The Water and watching it grow into something so special for our community. Together with all of you, we are incredibly proud that this event has helped raise over $60,000 for the National Memorial of Military Ascent. That impact means more than words can express, and it’s something everyone involved should be proud of.
Beyond fundraising, Witches On The Water has become a fun, welcoming, and safe tradition that brings people together in such a unique way. Seeing the community show up year after year — dressed up, supporting the cause, and making memories — has been one of the most rewarding parts of this journey.
Jessica and Deseray both want to sincerely thank everyone for the incredible love, support, encouragement, and understanding that has meant so much to them. They are excited to see Witches On The Water continue to grow.
We are also thrilled to welcome a new committee member to help with this year’s events, with hopes of adding additional support in the future as the event continues to evolve.
Please note that the WOTW email will remain active and will be managed by the new committee members.
Thank you all again for being part of the magic of Witches On The Water. We truly could not do this without our amazing community!
Here’s to the next chapter and another magical year on the river. With gratitude, we are passing on the broom.
