Thank you all. Thank you to all of our sponsors through the years. There’s too many to list right now but thank you. Thank you to the makers. We’ve been amazed how far you’ve traveled to come hang out one random weekend in a little Indiana town. We’ve seen the most amazing people from all walks of life come together to enjoy their time at MRRF. Thank you to the people that have stepped up to help us keep doing it all these years. Sonny and I are in awe every year at how many and how far come to attend this festival.

As we say goodbye this afternoon, we ask that everyone support the new festival next year. I know they will do their best to keep the spirit of MRRF alive, while building onto it with their own ideas and communities. Please make sure to follow The MakerHive as they take on the torch and continue the festival with a new name and their amazing members organizing the evolution of MRRF.

As all of our attendees, exhibitors, and sponsors know, this year we were able to secure the building with AC. To make that happen, we had some very generous sponsors chip in to help offset the cost. We would like to thank the following sponsors for their additional contribution:

Hey MRRF! 6pm tonight starts MRRF after dark. Sponsors and exhibitors are encouraged to stick around, hang out and relax after today’s excitement. Since the weather Thursday impacted our food vendors, here’s the plan. One big community potluck. We have a ton of pizzas being delivered at 6pm. Trying to find tacos as we speak. If you’re a sponsor and want to add to the food for tonight, go for it! We got pizza covered. Bring your own drinks, if you’re over 21 no glass bottles carried around is the fairgrounds policy. Well grab a bunch of paper plates and silverware etc…. Let’s set up near the garage door in the AC building between Atomic and Greengate.

Sonny and I would love to hear some of your best (or worst) stories of MRRF over these past 14 years. We’d love to share some of the behind the scenes ones we’ve had too.

See you all at 6pm. We’ll start winding it down to lock up by 10pm

Good morning MRRF! Quick updates. Goshen and the area had some pretty nasty severe weather late last night. Tornadoes nearby even. There is a lot of storm damage and power outages still this morning. However, we do have power at the fairgrounds.

Unfortunately with the severe weather last night two of our food truck/coffee truck vendors have storm damage and cleanup to do, so they likely won’t make it out. Good news is, Goshen has become large enough for lots of grubhub/Uber Eats. We’re hoping the ice cream truck can still make it.

Remember to come check in at the ECCC building first to see where you’ll be setting up. Pic shows the building entrance for check in. Sponsors will be set up in this building as well as any of the Makerspaces/orgs attending. All of the robot fights and, death racers and RC will be in building A (last few years building).

And lastly, remember what MRRF is all about. Friendship, fun, learning and relaxing. MRRF is not a tradeshow. It’s a laid back weekend of enjoying seeing cool things and meeting cool people!
