The Fluffy Butt ladies have moved up! 25 sq foot will help them move around as they keep growing! They will move out to the barn at about six weeks.

Oh what an improvement in just a few days! Thanks to Dan, Cole and Devin Knitig for cutting these massive trees and clearing the area, thanks to Isaiah, AJ and Justin for working on the small trees and brush. This has helped Eric and I out so much!
Anyone looking for something to do and want to be a part of this awesome project, hit me up! We will be building new fences and need help removing the old, as well as continuing to clean up the landscape.

So, we have been working HARD on the land to get our cabins built and our farm animal experience ready! We have had to take down (or Mother Nature has taken down) close to 100 trees that were dead, but the great thing about it is that we are purchasing a mill so we can use the wood from the trees that were not rotted to build our new fence for the entire property. We have also been chipping the wood from the limbs and branches to use for our animals’ bedding.
While things still have a LONG way to be where we want it, things are really showing signs of improvement and progress!
In the next few weeks, things will really start moving faster as we are closing on one of our houses in town and will use that money to get things going with anticipation to open in July/August.
We have LOTS of plans for fun family adventures out here, even for our local families! Please LIKE and SHARE our page so people can see what we are doing and follow our progress!

So, we did a thing… one of Lucie’s sisters (litter mate) never got adopted and the breeder wanted to find her a new home, so we brought her home yesterday. Her name is Lillie.
She was very shy to start and Lucie was actually afraid of her until this morning.
She is quite a bit beefier than Lucie, but she will run it off here on the farm.
They are finally starting to actually play and enjoy each other’s company. The big girls are gonna be happy not to have to deal with puppy energy all the time, these girls will wear each other out!
First video is if us bringing Lillie home and introducing her to the girls, the second video (in the comments) is last night after she was here for a bit and the third video is of the “sister shenanigans” this morning.

So excited that our first five silo cabin foundations are done, thanks to A2 Construction!

Silos will be delivered mid-April and we will start working on building them out.

I’m really looking forward to decorating them— we will have five different themes to go with the history of our land, Goodland and Sherman County.

Hoping to have them up and ready by county fair in August!
