Hi friends, many of you know that we purchased a 20-acre property back in October, which was most recently a buffalo ranch, but it also has lots of rich history… this property was the first Sherman county homestead back in the 1880’s and was also the home of the first local post office.
This property is so beautiful that we decided to build silo cabins and an event venue to share this wonderful place with you!
We have named our land Conner’s Country Corner but wanted a fun name for our venue and that is where we came up with Sunflowers & Shenanigans.
This venue space is for outdoor events, perfect for sunset weddings, vow renewals, birthday parties and more. We will have a large conservatory pavilion to keep you out of the elements, but still feeling one with your beautiful surroundings.
We will have a separate ceremony space overlooking the prairie, facing westward to get the best views of the world renowned Kansas sunsets, with our amphitheater style seating so everyone will get to enjoy the view.
We have already began our construction and plan to be up and running by August!
