Jefferson County Parks and Open Space is conducting an evaluation to determine where the County should invest its resources to support community gathering and provide opportunities for equine, youth, and agricultural activities. Potential investment locations include the Jefferson County Fairgrounds and Fehringer Ranch (another County property). This study will encompass a full exploration of scenarios that include reimagining or reinvesting in the current Fairgrounds property to modernize, as well as scenarios that involve development of community facilities at Fehringer Ranch.
We will be hosting a series of Open Houses to share information about the evaluation, gather community feedback, and provide an opportunity for community members to ask questions and provide input. The Open Houses are currently planned for the following dates and times:
Tuesday, 10/20 – Peak Community and Wellness Center(Littleton)
Open House Time: 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.
Location: Pinyon Room
Friday, 10/23 – Lakewood Library(Lakewood)
Open House Time: 12:00 – 2:00 p.m.
Location: Lakewood Meeting Room
Monday, 10/26 – Wulf Recreation Center(Evergreen)
Open House Time: 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.
Location: Birch Room
Tuesday, 10/27 – Jefferson County Fairgrounds(Golden)
Open House Time: 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.
