Gold Rush Gravel an 'Ol Fashioned Hootenanny. Gravel Bike Race in Gold Hill, ColoRADo

Gold Rush Gravel is the sister event of the Old Man Winter Rally, an event experience known for its laid back vibe, adventurous course, cold beer, and great prizes. Starting above Boulder in Gold Hill, the fall colors and historic town will make you feel like you’ve gone back to the turn of the 20th century. The roads that make up the courses are 90% gravel with gorgeous views of the Indian Peaks

and very little civilization in sight. All three loops start and finish on Main St, where a fun block party greets you in between laps and music fills the air. It’s a one-of-a-kind gravel race with limited spots for some very lucky cyclists.

Boulder, CO. (June 2, 2021) - Rapha, maker of the world’s finest cycling clothing, will be the exclusive cycling apparel partner of the Gold Rush Gravel Bike Rally held September 19th, 2021 in Gold Hill, CoO. Gravel bike riders will take on this hilly adventure through Boulder County's finest gravel roads, trails, and singletrack. “Gold Rush Gravel embodies the spirit of cycling that inspires us to get on our bikes," says Brandon Camarda, Rapha’s U.S. Marketing Director. “We believe that the friendships and memories created through experiences on the bike are what make riding special, and Gold Rush Gravel weaves those elements into a challenging event that we are thrilled to support in the backyard of our Boulder Clubhouse."
Now in its 3rd year, the Gold Rush Gravel Bike Rally was created by Adventure Fit, an award-winning experiential event company based in Boulder. “After taking on many gravel adventures in the Boulder County foothills, we set out to create a world-class gravel experience that all levels of rider can enjoy,” said Josh Kravetz, President. Starting above Boulder, the fall colors and historic town will make riders feel like they’ve gone back to the turn of the 20th century. The roads that make up the courses are 90% gravel with gorgeous views of the Indian Peaks and very little civilization in sight. There unique format includes 3 different loops, all starting and ending in town. In between laps, riders will enjoy live music, grab a slice of pie, and regroup with their buddies.

As part of the partnership, the Rapha Clubhouse in Boulder will host a series of training rides to bring riders together as they build strength and resilience needed for the Gold Rush Gravel courses. Rapha will also provide prizing for top finishers.

For the past 19 years, our company, Adventure Fit Inc, has always strived to create experiences that welcome all types of athletes, genders, and ethnicities. There has never been an event where we didn't offer equal pay outs for men and women, and we've always wanted those without financial means to be able to participate. Our goal is to create experiences for you and your friends that you remember for the rest of your lives. For us that has been rooted in bikes, music, beer, mountains, tacos, and adventure. The views on the are as glorious as they were in 1883, when the first segments were built for a narrow gauge railroad line. Originally, the rail road carried supplies and tourists to mining camps and towns in the front range. Today, it's heaven for and due to the onobstructed views of the range and consistant grade (2-5%). All riders taking on ' "Evergreen Loop" and "Lickskillet Loop" will get to ride this historic treasure.
