Meet your Fairgrounds Manager — it’s official!

Hi there! If we haven’t met yet, my name is Natasha. I have been serving as Interim Manager since November 2025 — the second time I’ve stepped into that role since starting with Curry County in 2023. Last week, I officially transitioned from my previous County positions to focus solely on the fairgrounds.

I am incredibly excited to dedicate all of my time and energy to the Fairgrounds and Event Center. My goal is to continue rebuilding and improving the infrastructure while creating opportunities to host even bigger and better events for our community.

I grew up attending the Curry County Fair and have deep local roots here, so it truly means a lot to have the opportunity to help lead something that has been such a big part of this community for generations. I’m honored to continue building on the vision and hard work that has already been put into the Fairgrounds, and I’m excited for what’s ahead.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me along the way — I can’t wait to see what we accomplish together!

Artist Sam Girl is coming to town and will be playing Saturday night, July 25th at 7PM! Sam brings a modern take on those 90’s country classics while also performing some original music of her own.

Reminder! 🚧

Starting Monday, the South Parking Lot will be CLOSED for maintenance. During this time there will be NO beach access through road for a few days.

This beauty hangs out around the fairgrounds so regularly that she actually had babies a few months ago in the Floral Building! Now that the kittens are old enough, they’ve been taken to Wild Rivers Animal Rescue, and momma was caught, spayed, and received her vaccinations — all paid for by Wild Rivers Animal Rescue!

Now this sweet girl is back at the fairgrounds and officially our very own barn cat. 🐾

But every hardworking fairgrounds cat deserves a proper name! Drop your best name ideas in the comments below! 👇
