🧑‍🎨 Beginner Hand-Building Pottery Class

Get creative and learn the art of hand-building pottery! This two-session class is perfect for beginners and returning makers who want to learn foundational techniques and create their own ceramic pieces with guided instruction. Finished projects will be fired in the kiln and available for pickup later.

Are you an artist facing an unexpected hardship? This may be worth a look.

The Lake Region Arts Council currently has $500 Emergency Relief Grants available for artists experiencing urgent needs related to healthcare, housing, equipment, legal emergencies, or property damage.

The application is short (5–10 minutes), there’s no final report, and funds are distributed quickly.

📣 New Open Studio Dates Available!

We launched our Open Studio nights in November of last year, and since then we’ve received an overwhelmingly positive response from our community. Nearly every session has filled to capacity, and we’ve had several requests to continue and expand these arts opportunities.

We’re happy to share that registration is now open for additional Open Pottery Studio and Open Art Studio dates, scheduled now through May.

🏺Open Pottery Studio takes place on the third Thursday of each month from 6–8 PM in Central Square’s Pottery Studio (Suite 207). These sessions are designed for participants with basic pottery experience who want time and space to hand-build, glaze, or refine personal projects, with instructor support available as needed.

🎨 Open Art Studio is held on the first Thursday of each month from 6–8 PM and includes an optional Wellness Art Activity. This program is open to all skill levels and provides a relaxed environment to work independently on your own projects or participate in a guided, reflective art activity. All materials are provided, and no prior experience is required.

We’ve also added several more classes and multi-session workshops, including children’s theatre, adult and youth pottery workshops, and more. Additional details on these offerings coming soon!
