In 2026, the Pope County Fair is celebrating 140 Years of Tradition --— Now It’s Time for the Next Big Step!
For more than a century, our County Agricultural Society has proudly brought our community together through the county fair – a place where memories are made, friendships grow, and local pride shines. From youth to seniors, our fair proudly has "something for everyone!"
Now, we’re dreaming big!!
Our current livestock building has been serving us well for nearly 50 years but it is starting to look and feel "tired." We want to revitalize it AND our county fair. To that end we’re exploring the construction of a new 100’ x 220’ multi purpose community building — a space that could host events, activities, and opportunities year round. From weddings and expos to 4-H events, concerts, winter storage, educational programs, and more…the possibilities are endless. But before we take the next step, we need YOUR input.
