The Horn Family Reunion began in 1903 in Glenwood, Alabama and is the longest consecutive running family reunion in the State of Alabama. Locations for the event have included the historic Horn Shelter the old Glenwood Schoolhouse, and Crenshaw County Lake. Relatives and descendants of Richard Whitehead Horn (Jan. 28, 1801 - May 7, 1889) and Rebecca Cox Horn (Mar. 9, 1808 - Jan. 7, 1895) are encouraged to attend.

It was my intent to create a page for this historic traditional event. I grew up in the '60s well aware of the annual Horn Family Reunion but it wasn't for another 30 years that I finally attended my first. I look forward to many more. I intend to add many more photos and historical content to this page - and not only welcome but encourage contributions of the same.
