We're still basking in the glow of a fantastic - here's a few photos (and more to come!). Photographer is light on his feet, and covered the festival all weekend.

We've got and artist .connie repping the shirts, performers and more performers, and the stage schedule for the "Great Lon", named for the festival's founder, Lon Austin.

Thanks to all who attended and supported the event in any way!

That's a wrap for the 2026 Glendale AZ Folk and Heritage Festival! We had an amazing time, and hope everyone attending did too!

There are so many people to thank for helping to make this a wildly successful weekend.

The City of Glendale, Arizona and Downtown Glendale, AZ put all of the pieces together, from sound equipment and technicians to the tents, chairs, food trucks, programs, and more.

On Stage Now coordinated our artwork contest and t-shirt sales - what a fantastic job representing the festival and their important non-profit. The winning design was by Connie Deluca , and we appreciated her signing t-shirts all weekend!

Thanks also to the Phoenix Conservatory of Music (PCM) - for lending instruments for the children's area.

Special thanks to the dozens of volunteers who help keep things running - stage emcees, info desk, and the festival planning committee for HOURS of hard work to make this our best festival yet.

Of course, we couldn't do this without the hundreds of performers who lent their time and talent to create joy, community, and magic throughout the weekend. Traditional folk, celtic, autoharp and ukulele ensembles, songwriters, blues, and everything else makes this a diverse event with something for everyone.

Last, but not least, thank you to YOU! Music listeners, pickers and grinners, lovers of music everywhere, folks who supported the event in every way - you are the reason we do this. Folk music is "music for folks" - and to all of you who came to share in the joy of the weekend, our heartfelt thanks for joining us in our 36th year.

On to the 37th annual, already scheduled for March 6 and 7, 2027. Mark your calendars now....
..and we'll see you down the trail.

Parking parking parking! For this weekend, the closest lot is the small one just north of Mountain View Road. There's plenty just across the street at Glendale Community College, and there's an entry to the park right on Mountain View.

Additional parking is available north of the park, on the other side of Brown, at the Glendale Adult Center.

Parking for performers and volunteers is the dirt lot at the northwest corner of the site.

Come out early! You'll get a good spot, and beat the heat at the same time.

is this weekend! Let's talk about weather. Looks like it's going to be pretty warm out there, and we'll be ready for it to help you make the most of your weekend.

Here's how you can beat the heat:

1) We will have water and sunscreen available, so please stop by the information booth anytime!

2) Every stage has some shade for the audience, and we have two indoor stages.

3) Come early! Music starts at 10am, and we have an opening ceremony at 9:30 on Saturday. We've got a full lineup at 10:00, so you can enjoy plenty of music before it gets too toasty.

Stay safe, and let us know how we can help!
