Nowruz arrived, marking the Persian New Year and ushering in the quiet promise of a new season. I find myself holding space for both celebration and sorrow.

This is a time that speaks of renewal, of fresh starts, of life pushing forward. Yet for so many Iranian families, this moment is layered with uncertainty, loss, and unanswered prayers.

Today, I am thinking of the families who should be gathering in joy but are instead navigating fear.

I am thinking of the children who deserve laughter, not disruption.

I am thinking of a people whose strength is being tested in ways no one should endure.

I am lifting prayers for safety, for comfort, and for a future where peace is not distant, but present and real. A future where families can celebrate freely, where new beginnings feel whole again.

May this new year carry more than tradition.
May it carry protection.
May it carry healing.
And may it gently restore what has been shaken.

As the Beverly Hills Chapter President of the Southern California Black Chamber of Commerce, I am grateful for intentional women like Rosa Parks whose contributions to the civil rights movement still resonates with America.

Rosa Louise McCauley, better known as Rosa Parks, was born on February 4, 1913, in Tuskegee, Alabama.

On December 1, 1955, at age 42, Parks made history when she refused to give up her bus seat to a white passenger, not because she was tired, but as a deliberate act of protest against systemic racism. Her courageous decision led to her arrest and ignited the Montgomery Bus Boycott, a 381 day protest organized by leaders such as Jo Ann Robinson and supported legally by attorney Fred Gray. The boycott’s success ultimately prompted the United States Supreme Court to declare segregation on public buses unconstitutional.

In recognition of her profound impact, the first official Rosa Parks Day was established in California in 2000. Today, states honor her either on her birthday, February 4, or the first Monday after February 4, celebrating her enduring legacy and reminding us that intentional courage can change the course of history.

JAZZY BELLS NOMINATED FOR OUTSTANDING SHORT FORM (ANIMATED)

Congratulations to client Filmmaker and writer Dara Frazier For a NAACP Image Awards Nomination for her Holiday themed animation Jazzy Bells starring the voice of Hawthorne James!

The family-friendly short film is 22 minutes and stars James, a veteran actor known for his iconic roles in The Five Heartbeats, Speed, Se7en, and more.

He lends his voice to the role of Otis Walker, the traveling jazz musician. The voice actors rounding out the cast are Tasha Michaud, Jean Cecile Nadine, Je'maya Jackson, Adriohn Richardson, Devin Laster, and Doris Anita Miller. Paying tribute to her mom's memory, Detroit native Frazier set out to capture that emotion with a story about processing grief, family, love, and the magic of what music does for the soul. The film debuted at the 2025 Pan African Film Festival.

Your voice matters and we ask for your vote for this family friendly story about family values and the spirit of the holiday season!

Legal Preparedness Is Not About Fear, Its About Foresight.

The businesses that survive disruption are the ones that plan before pressure arrives.

When the first 48 hours matter most, clarity becomes your strongest defense.

Our monthly meetings create a space for real dialogue, shared strategy, and collective growth. This is where relationships are strengthened, ideas are sharpened, and intention turns into forward motion.

Join me on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at The Westin Los Angeles Airport to celebrate alongside outstanding women in our community for National Women’s History Month and in collaboration with the National Women’s History Project’s (NWHP) 2026 theme: "Leading the Change: Women Shaping a Sustainable Future."

I'm excited to be a candidate for the Black Business Association (BBA) 23rd annual Salute to Black Women Business Conference, Vendor Faire & Awards Luncheon.

Congratulations to for this amazing platform spotlighting the honorees!

I would greatly appreciate your support and vote for the Excellence in Service Awards! My work as a humanitarian include food distribution and medical supplies for vulnerable populations and churches who are feeding seniors and the survivors of the Eaton fires and my service as an Auxiliary member of the American Legion Post 43 providing support for our active and retired veterans and first responders is just a snapshot of my mission to be a solution for social injustice. Help me, help others! Volunteers are always appreciated.
