All aboard for Gladfest! 🚂

The Model Train Show is returning for another Gladfest weekend, giving train fans of all ages another stop to add to their festival plans.

You’ll have two chances to check it out at the Gladstone Community Center:

🚂 Friday, October 2 | 5–7 p.m.
🚂 Saturday, October 3 | 10 a.m.–6 p.m.

Whether the Model Train Show is already part of your Gladfest tradition or you’ve never stopped in before, make some time to check it out while you’re exploring everything happening throughout the weekend!

Smokefest is back at Gladfest, and registration is OPEN for teams ready to put their skills to the test!

This year’s competition takes place Saturday, October 3, with teams competing in KCBS ribs and chicken categories, plus ancillary competitions for dessert and baked beans. And there’s more than bragging rights on the line—prize money totals more than $2,000!

Could this year's Gladfest royalty be someone you know? 👑

Applications are open for the 2026 Little Mr. & Miss Gladfest and Gladfest Prince & Princess!

Northland children ages 3–5 can participate in the Prince & Princess contest, while children ages 6–8 can participate in Little Mr. & Miss Gladfest.

There's no entry fee, and contestants get to join us Friday, October 2 for the contest—with this year's winners also participating in the Gladfest Parade the next morning! ALL entries will receive a goodie bag full of some great gifts for the kiddos.

✨ Entries are limited to the first 30 applications received and are due September 18.

The Gladfest carnival will be back for all THREE days of Gladfest, and we want to know:
