4-H and Open Class projects are on display from August 2-5, 2017. In addition, the Crawford County Fair Association, through the generous support of corporate and individual sponsors, brings a variety of entertainment to the grounds located just east of Girard, Kansas, on Highway 47.

Camping letters for returning campers have been sent out. Please reference your camping spot number if you know it. Feel free to reach out for any questions.

Crawford County Fair Open Class Photography Contest
The Open Class division of the Crawford County Fair is hosting a Photography Contest as Part of the Crawford County Champions Competition. Community Spirit
The theme for 2026 is community Spirit. We are asking contestants to capture what is great about Crawford County and the communities that make it great.
The contest will be held during the fair, and Entries are to be entered on Wednesday July 29, by 1:00 p.m. The judging will take place at 5:00 on Thursday July 30. First and Second prizes will be awarded. Local media professionals will be the judges. This is a friendly competition, please join in the fun!

Cash Awards donated by Harrigan’s Barn
Youth up to 12 years of age​​1st $ 50.00​2nd $40.00
Advanced Youth 13 to 18 years ​ 1st $50.00 2nd $40.00
Adult ​​​​​​1st $100.00 2nd $50.00
Professional ​​​​1st$100.00 2nd $50.00

All photos will be exhibited as an 8X10 and mounted. The Crawford County Cooperative Extension office has mount boards and sleeves if you choose to purchase them. Photos will be released on Sunday August 2.
