Texas Word Wrangler Book Festival The Texas Word Wrangler is an annual Book Festival featuring Texas authors. This event is held in th TWW celebrates Texas authors and/or books with Texas themes.

Texas Word Wrangler Book Festival is held every year in September on the second Friday of the month at the Giddings Public Library & Cultural Center. "Word Wranglers" are authors who wrangle words creatively to produce books of all kinds and genres.

Submissions are open for the 2026 Texas Word Wrangler Book Festival!
This annual book festival in Giddings spotlights Texas authors and celebrates their contributions to the rich heritage of Texas literature.
Submission deadline: April 30

The Texas Word Wrangler Book Festival actively promotes Texas literature and provides authors an opportunity to connect directly with readers. We welcome all book genres from authors who are independently published, hybrid published, and traditionally published.

Applications are open to:
Authors who live in Texas
Authors from Texas
Authors with a book about a Texas topic
