On behalf of the Harvest Fest Committee, we wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! May your holiday season be filled with joy, laughter, and cherished moments, and may the coming year bring you happiness, peace, and prosperity.

We can’t say it enough—thank you all for your continued support! A big thanks to everyone who came out for this year’s parade and joined in the downtown festivities. Shoutout to GAH, The First Presbyterian, and the Gibson City Gibson Area Chamber of Commerce for your ongoing support! Thanks to all the Gibson City businesses for lending a hand, and to GCMS FBLA and GCMS Outreach for your help. And of course, thank you to everyone who signed up and had a float or entry in the parade. Every group, business, organization, and individual plays a huge role in making this event a success—we couldn’t do it without you!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!

11/24/2025

Thank you to everyone who supported the 31st Annual Gibson City Lighted Christmas Parade. We hope you had a fantastic time and enjoyed all the festivities and activities! Your participation and enthusiasm made this event truly special for our community. We look forward to seeing you again next year for more holiday fun.

We also want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated students and members of GCMS FBLA and GCMS Outreach. These remarkable young individuals generously volunteered their time and energy, going above and beyond in their service. We encourage everyone to support these outstanding programs—whether through participating in their fundraising initiatives or simply expressing appreciation for all the meaningful work they do for our community. It’s efforts like these that help shape our students into the exceptional leaders of tomorrow.

Once again, we extend our sincere appreciation to all the businesses for your invaluable support—GAH, First Presbyterian Church, Villas of Holly Brook, American Legion Post 568, The Harvest Fest Committee, GCMS FBLA, GCMS Outreach, and every one of our incredible volunteers! Your dedication makes it possible for us to see the joy on children’s faces and offer families a carefree afternoon and evening of festivities. None of this would be possible without your continued generosity and commitment!

Just like that, the holiday season is here, and we’re kicking it off today with the 31st Annual Gibson City Lighted Christmas Parade. Wishing everyone a fantastic time this afternoon and evening!

A big thank you to the Gibson City businesses and organizations for supporting and participating in this year’s festivities—be sure to support them today.

Thanks to GAH and the First Presbyterian Church for always being there for us; we couldn’t host this event without you. We’re grateful to The American Legion Post 568 for letting us use your banquet room for the Kids Zone, and to the Villas of Holly Brook (Gibson City, IL) for once again putting together Santa bags—kids love getting their treats from Santa each year. Thanks also to Syd & Sadie’s for hosting a s’mores bar, and to the Gibson City Harvest Fest committee, who work year-round to help others and host their own events.

Thank you to everyone and may you all have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

We hope everyone is adding the final touches to their floats! It looks like Mother Nature will be on our side tomorrow, giving us a beautiful day for the parade.

We’ve been busy delivering scavenger hunt clues to participating businesses and organizations, all of which are eager to see everyone for an afternoon of fun. Each location will display a director’s clapboard where you’ll get your card stamped before receiving the next clue. Be ready to explore downtown, as the clues have no set order. The first stop on the hunt will be the American Legion Post 568 Banquet Room.
