You may remember John Rothman as General Reynolds in “Gettysburg.” In Paul Greengrass’s 2006 film “United 93,” he portrayed passenger Edward P. Felt.

This Saturday, September 12th, John will join us at the Majestic Theater in Gettysburg for an evening of remembrance and reflection recognizing the passengers and crew of Flight 93.

We are honored to welcome Ed’s brother, Gordon Felt, along with family members of Deora Bodley, Louis J. Nacke II, Todd Beamer, and Lorraine Bay.

Also joining us will be Polly Adams, who portrayed flight attendant Deborah Welsh, and Ben Sliney, who served as the FAA’s National Operations Manager on September 11, 2001, and portrayed himself in the film.

Please join us as we remember the lives and honor the courage of those onboard Flight 93.

Filmmaker Paul Greengrass recently joined WHYY's Fresh Air to discuss his upcoming film and revisit his earlier work, including “United 93,” which will screen at the Majestic Theater in Gettysburg this Saturday, September 12th.

Although Paul is unable to join us in person for the screening and discussion, he graciously recorded a message that will be shown before the film.

Greengrass' latest film is set in 1381 England and centers on a farmer who leads an army against the king. His previous films include the Jason Bourne movies, United 93 and Captain Phillips.

This Saturday, September 12th, we invite you to join us for an evening of remembrance and reflection at the Majestic Theater.

Beginning at 6 p.m., there will be a screening of Paul Greengrass’s "United 93," followed by a conversation with family members of the heroes of Flight 93 alongside actors from the 2006 film.

We are honored to be joined by Ed Root, cousin of Lorraine G. Bay. A Philadelphia native, Lorraine loved her work as a United Airlines flight attendant. For 37 years, her warm smile and caring nature put passengers at ease. Although she was one of United’s most senior flight attendants, she preferred working in the coach section. She mentored younger colleagues and was known for remembering co-workers and family members with thoughtful cards and unique gifts. Two of her colleagues received cards postmarked September 11, 2001. Lorraine resided in New Jersey with her husband of 22 years.

Please join us as we remember Lorraine and the other 39 heroes of Flight 93 and reflect on their courage, sacrifice, and enduring legacy 25 years later.

Author Tom McMillan will join us on Saturday, September 12th, for United 93: A 25th Anniversary Screening and Conversation at the Majestic Theater in Gettysburg.

Tom has written two books examining the events of September 11, including one focused specifically on Flight 93. Following the screening and conversation, he will sign books beginning at approximately 9:30 p.m.

The Gettysburg Film Festival and Friends of Flight 93 National Memorial are honored to be joined by family members of the heroes of Flight 93, including Kenny Nacke, brother of passenger Louis J. Nacke II.

Louis, known by his loved ones as "Joey," was the director of a New Jersey distribution center for Kay-Bee Toys, who found himself on a last-minute business trip west on September 11, 2001. He had recently remarried and was building a home with his wife in New Hope, Pennsylvania. Louis was also a beloved older brother to his three younger siblings and a father of two teenage boys.

Please join us as we remember Louis J. Nacke II and the other 39 heroes of Flight 93, and reflect on their courage, sacrifice, and enduring legacy, 25 years later.

On Saturday, September 12th, one day after the 25th anniversary of the September 11th attacks, we invite the public to join us for an evening of remembrance and reflection at the Majestic Theater in Gettysburg.

We are honored to be joined by family members of the heroes of Flight 93, including David Beamer, father of passenger Todd Beamer.

Todd was traveling to San Francisco for a one-day business trip for his job in the technology industry. Raised in the Chicago area, he was living in New Jersey with his wife, Lisa, who was pregnant with their third child, and their two young sons.

During a phone call from the plane, Todd shared information about what was happening aboard the flight and asked the operator to pass along a message to his wife. He was among the passengers who attempted to regain control of the aircraft.

Please join us as we remember Todd Beamer and the other 39 heroes of Flight 93, and reflect on their courage, sacrifice, and enduring legacy.
