Hey everyone! I know its been a while since we posted on here for the Halloween Spooktacular. However, we have some bad news. Due to many many circumstances, we will not hold this event for 2024. I will not get into specifics but due to personal and professional reasons, my wife and I have to bow out of this event.
We absolutely loved this event each year! It by far was most enjoyable for us since Halloween is our second favorite holiday. We are thankful for the people that helped us develop this event and turned into one of the biggest end-of-year races in the Northeast. Our reasoning for starting this event was to give back to karters of all ages, especially the younger generation. I believe this made it fun for them after a long season of hard racing. It was an event to have fun, make a little extra $$ and end the season on a good note. However, when $$ becomes involved, there are other parties that become interested in the event. Those other parties don't see the time, effort & Money put into this event every year before it even becomes a reality. My wife and I, our main goal was not about money, nor do we care. Sometimes it makes or breaks other people but not us. We just want fun and spookiness for this event.
The Future: We don't know what the future will hold for this event. But for right now it has gone to R.I.P for a while. The Logo and the name for this event has been submitted for trademarking with the US Patent office. When we choose to bring back the even (where ever that may be) you will know its us. Not an imitation.
In closing, thank you to all the racers and volunteers who helped make this event as great as it was. Every year it kept growing beyond leaps and bounds and I am sad that we can't even have a 5th anniversary race. We will however keep this page up and running until we decide when we will come back to this event. Again Thank you everyone from the bottom of our hearts for everything the past 4 years and good luck with your future endeavors!!
Sincerely,
