Germantown Pretzel Festival Always the final full weekend of September from 9am to 9pm on Saturday & from 12pm to 6pm on Sunday!

09/30/2026

The Germantown Pretzel Festival would like to thank everyone who made our 46th Annual a huge success! It's hard to name names and be specific without missing someone, but I'll try!

Thank you to our city management/workers! We could not pull off our festival weekend without help from all of them; Judy Gilleland Ashworth,
Terry Johnson, the city administration, the Police Officers, the Fire and EMTS, the street crew (they do so much for us), Brian Saul, and so many others!

Thank you to all of the local businesses who sponsored our festival; Schenk's, Dupps, Miami Valley Propane, First National Bank Germantown, the Rettich Family, Fraternal Order of Eagles, Footes (donates a storage unit for all of our supplies and stage), Neff's (donates two tractors and trailers to assist in keeping the park clean and hauling things around the park).

Our Entertainers; Jimmy Dooley, Buck the Magic Cowboy, Honey Creek Cloggers, Nick and Amanda Smith, Ryan Roth and the Comeback Special, and the Spittin' Image!

Our MCs; Nancy, Woody, Dylan, and Grayson! We can always count on lots of fun when they're around.

The Boys Scouts, the Valley View Marching Band, Melissa Fiers (sang the National Anthem), the royalty and others who judged our Pretzel Contest, First Heavy Metal Church of Christ (FHMCC) who kept the parking looking beautiful, and Kim Atkins who filled in on the mic while Kendal was bustling other things! I could go on and on!

All of our vendors! About 140 every year set up their goodies and creations and are there the entire weekend!

First Baptist Church of Germantown; provides parking and rides up and down the hill! This year, they also helped out with Elvis and the band! Thx for organizing it Steve Kelly!

Our Pretzel Festival Committee; Donna Bishop, Kathy Rettich, Gary Smith, Deanna Smith, Steven Price, Jessica Price, Matt Fox, Kristie Fox, Bonnie Kraft, Kendal Peters (aka DJ K Dawg), and Cathy Murphy all work so hard! It takes a lot of time and effort to make the festival happen and these people are always up to the challenge!

And finally, YOU! All of you keep this festival going by coming out and supporting it every year!

We hope you enjoyed it! If you're interested in helping out with next years festival, please reach out to me! We get started in February and will always take all of the help that's offered!

If I missed thanking anyone, let me know! I truly appreciate everyone's help, no matter how big or small you may think it is, it takes it all!
