Hello all. At this time we will be postponing the alumni vball and b-ball tournaments. We are considering trying to host this memorial weekend if everything calms down by then. Please leave a comment If you’d be interested in trying to do this memorial weekend!

2020 Fillmore Central/Fairmont/Geneva Alumni Tournament

This year we will be hosting a Women’s Alumni Volleyball Tournament on Friday, April 3rd and a Men’s Alumni Basketball Tournament on Saturday, April 4th. The tournament will be open to graduates AND spouses of graduates from Fillmore Central, Geneva, or Fairmont High School.

Individuals must play for the team representing the year in which they graduated. Participating spouses must play in the year which their spouse graduated from Fillmore Central/Fairmont/Geneva. For basketball - if more team members are needed, you can look to individuals who graduated a year above or below to join your team.

Registration deadline is Wednesday, March 25th. Cost is $10 per player and must be paid before your team plays their first game. Checks should be payable to Geneva Parks & Rec.

Since we are unsure of numbers for the first year of this event, we would like individuals to register. Teams will be formed based on graduation year (or spouse's graduation year). If a graduating class does not have enough to form a full team, teams will be combined with other classes. These dads did it again - graduating years ‘02-‘04 outlasted the young bucks of ‘15-‘16 (who only had 5 guys all day and played 4 games) to win the championship. Thanks to everyone who played and came out to watch. Fun day! Would love suggestions on how to grow it or if people would be interested in doing a coed volleyball tournament in addition.

Thanks to everyone who responded about the possible dates. April 6th was the winner - who all would be able to get a team together if we played that Saturday? Try to Stick to your class and the class above/below you as much as possible please. Give me some feedback and we can get this thing scheduled or look at the next date if need be. Thanks!!
