𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗿, 𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗲, 𝗙𝘂𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘀, 𝗧𝘆𝗹𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗮𝘁 𝗡𝗶𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗿𝗮 𝟱 𝗸𝗺 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀

The USATF Niagara 5 km Championships were held yesterday in Geneseo as part of the Oak Tree 5K. 95 athletes competed in the championships.

The individual champions were:
• Thomas Appenheimer (Open Men)
• Gabrielle Orie (Open Women)
• Jose Fuentes (Masters Men)
• Trisha Byler (Masters Women)

Team Champions were:
• Bergen Elite (Open Men)
• Roadkill Racing (Open Women)
• Checkers AC (Masters Men)
• Checkers AC (Masters Women)

With her victory, Orie clinched the year-long Niagara Runner of the Year Series title. In the team competition, Bergen Elite (men) and Roadkill Racing (women) secured the overall wins in the 2025 Niagara Club Grand Prix.

Our apologies to everyone for not having bathrooms at the starting line this morning. We increased our order this year, and had 4 port-a-johns delivered just a few days ago on site where they needed to be...and then they vanished...we're working on getting to the bottom of this.

Very sorry to everyone who expected to have these at the start.
