Hello to every amazing person who loves Alpenfrost. I would like to address the reason Alpenfrost will not take place in 2026. Unfortunately, it is solely due to a lack of volunteer support. Despite outreach efforts to the community for assistance, it has been determined that it is not feasible to continue the event for 2026. The underwhelming response has made it clear that we are unable to proceed. The event requires a significant amount of time and effort, and the current board's resources have been exhausted. It is no longer sustainable for one or two individuals to manage. If the community is interested in reviving Alpenfrost, I, as president and owner, would be more than happy to discuss the possibility with individuals interested in joining the board to continue the event in 2027. Unfortunately, the timeframe for hosting a successful event has passed. To make Alpenfrost viable, we would require approximately 12 volunteers. Over the past few years, only four individuals have been shouldering the responsibility, which is not a sustainable situation. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you are interested in helping Alpenfrost continue in 2027.
