Shin-Sen-Gumi Charity Summer Festival

SHIN-SEN-GUMI made MOVIES!?
Yes!! The first movie is produced independently by Shin-Sen-Gumi, and we cooperated in the production of the second one.
These movies are series of short films on the theme of regional revitalization, featuring local products, tourist destinations, and other regional attractions.
We will be screening a double feature of “Whale Island Tokunoshima” and “Tokunoshima, the Island of Bull-Sumo” which showcase the charms of Tokunoshima, a place overflowing with nature and kindness and the hometown of Mitsuyasu Shigeta, founder of Shin-Sen-Gumi Restaurant Group.
Experience the charms of Tokunoshima, a small island with a population of about 20,000 that does not appear on world maps and has been selected as a World Natural Heritage Site.

This is a series of short films on the theme of regional revitalization, featuring local products, tourist destinations, and other regional attractions.

We would like to thank all guests who attended the festival along with vendors, sponsors and all Shin-Sen-Gumi Staff members for making our 30th Anniversary Celebration / 8th Charity Summer Festival a success. Thank you for supporting us for 30 years such that we were able to conduct this special Charity Summer Festival. With your support, we were able to raise $5,083 towards charity from the admission fee and carnations, of which we’ve distributed across the following:

JCI (Children and Senior Program) – $1,083
Gardena Police – $1,000
Gardena Fire Dept – $1,000
Torrance Police – $1,000
Torrance Fire Dept – $1,000

【新撰組が30周年チャリティー夏祭りを開催🍜🏮】

博多ラーメンや焼鳥でおなじみの新撰組は、9月3日（土）に、トーランスシビックセンターで「30周年記念　第8回チャリティー夏祭り」を開催します。

当日の会場では屋台やパフォーマンスを楽しめます✨　以下は出店&出演予定の一例です。

♬　和太鼓や琉球祭太鼓のパフォーマンス
👗　優勝賞金1000ドルのコスプレ大会
🍜　優勝賞金1000ドルの替え玉コンテスト
🍴　ラーメン、焼鳥、とんかつ、たこ焼き、カレー、唐揚げ

などなど盛りだくさんのラインナップ✨
※現在、コスプレコンテストの出場者の募集は締め切られています。

お祭りを通じての地域社会への貢献、コロナで傷付いた社会の早期復興を目指したいという思いで新撰組が開催するこのお祭り。なんと入場料は1人1ドルで、この入場料は全て寄付される予定です。
