Contemporaneous with Galveston’s Dickens on the Strand, the Palmers and the Wiggses host an elegant afternoon tea reception. It takes place from 3:30pm-6pm on the Saturday of the festival at the historic Lasker Inn, located at 1019 16th Street in Galveston. As it is considered an afternoon semi-formal

event with Victorian sensibilities (men in suits and ladies with shoulders and legs covered please!), period costume is encouraged but not required.
