Vendor and artist alley applications for Oni-Con are open! You can find them liked in our LinkTree and on our website (which was also updated with the information about our 2027 dates and location).

If you aren’t familiar with Oni-Con, we are an anime and Japanese convention located in Houston! We aim to provide a wide variety of programming and three days full of fun for our attendees. If you are an artist or small business located in Texas, feel free to check us out! (And make sure you follow us for more updates!)

What even is this?

Anyway… Oni-Con is a 3 day anime and Japanese pop-culture convention. We’ll be coming back to Houston the weekend of October 1st next year (2027) at The Marriott Westchase. You don’t want to miss the things we have planned for next year! 😉

That’s right! Many of you guessed right in the comments- October 1st - 3rd next year, Oni-Con makes it’s return to Houston at the Houston Marriot Westchase.

What does this mean for attendees?

It means that we will have an on-site room block with rooms that are more affordable for attendees wishing to stay at the venue, a venue that has been updated more recently, and a location that is more centralized for the majority of Oni-Con attendees.

We also have some rather interesting programming in development- aiming to bring our Oni-Con attendees a unique blend of family friendly entertainment during the day, and plenty of after-hours fun throughout the night. With Oni-Con 2027 being over a year away, we already have exciting plans for this space and we can’t wait to share them with you all!
