Reminder that DEAD PERIOD for ALL SPORTS begins following this weekend. This means no coaching, observing, or contact between coach and players in sport involved. There is no practice, no open facilities, and no weight training/conditioning.

Let me tell you about character.
We get a text from the camp coordinator and asks if a team who lost several players to injuries could borrow a couple of ours just so they could play their last game.
Zero hesitation. They jumped in. Never met any of the girls before, but you couldn’t tell. The VERY best of teammates. High fives! “You got this!” “Good job!”. The same exact energy they have on our bench, they carried right to that one!
Meantime, our own JV team was playing in the same gym, different court. As soon as we finished ours, they immediately run 25ft to watch the last 2 minutes of theirs. Cheering. Clapping. Being unconditionally supportive to their teammates, who were ALSO being unselfishly, unconditionally supportive teammates for others.

Yeah, they won the game, but we are winning in LIFE if we are raising kids like these!
