UF Homecoming & Gator Growl UF Homecoming & Gator Growl is the largest student-run pep rally in the nation. It marks the culminating moment of Homecoming Week at the University.

Florida Blue Key presents Homecoming & Gator Growl, a student-run pep rally at the University of Florida that was founded in 1932. Gator Growl is famous for bringing in world-class entertainers such as The Goo Goo Dolls, Robin Williams, Dennis Miller, Jerry Seinfeld, Dave Chappelle, Billy Crystal, Richard Jeni, Paula Poundstone, Bob Hope, Dane Cook, Foster the People and Ludacris.
