Message from the Smith’s:
Hello Gainesboro! As many of you know, the Smith Family planned to have a fireworks show at 9:00 pm on Saturday, July 2nd to support Gainesboro, Freedom Fest and The Share To Care Event. The Smith Family will proceed to have our own family and friends fireworks show SATURDAY, JULY 2ND, 9:00 PM, at the same time and place. Unfortunately, we have been informed that in order to make this a "public" event, we need an expensive State permit and to hire a licensed professional, so we can't make this a "public show" and "advertise" or "invite" the public. Therefore, at this time, we have to un-invite the general public from the fireworks show. Obviously it's a free country and we are celebrating our FREEDOM. If you happen to look North of the Court House Square in Gainesboro on Saturday, July 2nd at 9:00 PM and see fireworks, please know these are not for the public, just our family and friends. Wherever you are to celebrate FREEDOM please have a Patriotic and safe Independence Day Weekend!

Next weekend! Woohoo🎉 Gainesboro’s 1st Annual Freedom Fest Share to Care Event happening downtown of Gainesboro, TN on July 2nd! 😎 Live music, food, fireworks, laser show, silent auction & more! Lots of local businesses will also be collecting donations for the Needs Closet for Students. See our following posts for more information! Come out and enjoy the weekend in Gainesboro!

Hi everyone! We are so excited for Gainesboro’s 1st Annual Share to Care Freedom Fest in just 2 short weeks! 🎉❤️ We wanted to remind everyone the reason for this event and what you can do to help out!
Needs Closet for Students donation boxes will be set up around town at the following businesses: The Stolen Coin Oyster Bar & Bistro, Roaring River Distillery, Bull & Thistle Pub, Kaye’s Korner, and Wildwood Marina! 😎 You may donate all of the following items (all new items in the package, please no used items): undershirts, socks, underwear (jr girls preferably), leggings, hair brushes, wash cloths, deodorants, feminine products, tooth brushes, tooth paste, reusable water bottles, drawstring backpacks, and also snacks! We are so excited for this event and look forward to seeing everyone there!
