Legendary comedian and star of Disney/Pixar’s COCO invites you to support Santa Ana artists and performers participating in this year’s *free* OC Día del Niño Festival taking place this Saturday, April 25 from 10am-5pm at the Hunt Branch Library, located at 201 S Basque Ave in Fullerton!

Performers from Santa Ana in this year’s OC Día del Niño festival INCLUDE CLAUDIA DE LA CRUZ FLAMENCO INSTITUTE, EL CENTRO CULTURAL DE MEXICO, KIDSINGERS, RELAMPAGO DEL CIELO GRUPO FOLKLORICO and SHOWTIME DANCE ACADEMY.

Youth workshop artists from Santa Ana INCLUDE ALICIA GRACIDA, ATELIER KANG, SENAH KIM, PERLA DIONICIO and MOISES VAZQUEZ.

Additionally, the festival also features some amazing artists, performers and arts organizations in the region, including Fullerton, Anaheim, Costa Mesa, Orange, Placentia, Westminster, San Juan Capistrano, San Clemente, Los Angeles, Whittier, El Sereno, San Diego, El Cajon, Ontario and Murrieta!

Entre los artistas de Santa Ana que participan en el Festival del Día del Niño del Condado de Orange de este año se encuentran el Instituto FLAMENCO CLAUDIA DE LA CRUZ, EL CENTRO CULTURAL DE MÉXICO, KIDSINGERS, RELAMPAGO DEL CIELO GRUPO FOLKLÓRICO y SHOWTIME DANCE ACADEMY.

Los artistas de los talleres juveniles de Santa Ana incluyen a ALICIA GRACIDA, ATELIER KANG, SENAH KIM, PERLA DIONICO y MOISÉS VÁZQUEZ. El Festival OC Día del Niño es un festival familiar que ofrece música en vivo, danza, actividades artísticas interactivas, puestos de información comunitaria y food trucks. Artistas profesionales, organizaciones artísticas locales, escuelas y grupos comunitarios ofrecen presentaciones y talleres.

La Biblioteca y Centro de Eventos Hunt Branch es un edificio histórico de estilo moderno de mediados de siglo, diseñado por el renombrado arquitecto William Pereira.

Descrito como "una especie de Lady Gaga para niños", con un sonido pop vibrante, TWINKLE TIME hará bailar a los niños con sus pegadizas melodías. El Día del Niño también da la bienvenida a KIDDLE KAROO para una divertida presentación que combina música, alegría y títeres. Y el versátil MISTA COOKIE JAR regresa para deslumbrar al público con su singular fusión de hip hop, funk, Motown y músicas del mundo.

¡El festival de este año también incluye presentaciones de excelentes grupos juveniles de música y danza de todo Orange County!

Además, el evento incluye más de 25 talleres artísticos interactivos y atractivos para jóvenes en pintura, música, danza, artes circenses, cerámica, creación de máscaras, textiles, elaboración de piñatas y mucho más, impartidos por talentosos artistas.

El Día del Niño es una festividad familiar tradicional que se celebra en México en abril para honrar a los niños, celebrar su importancia en la sociedad y promover su bienestar. El Festival del Día del Niño del Condado de Orange es un evento destacado de la Celebración de la Imaginación anual de Arts Orange County, un festival de arte que se extiende durante todo el mes en todo el condado para familias y niños.

Como parte de la Celebración de la Imaginación, el Día del Niño ofrece actividades y experiencias artísticas divertidas y gratuitas para toda la familia y niños de todas las edades y niveles de habilidad.

Popular music group TWINKLE TIME, puppet band KIDDLE KAROO and high energy genre chameleon MISTA COOKIE JAR headline the free admission OC Día del Niño Festival in Fullerton, which takes place at the Hunt Branch Library and Event Center on Saturday, April 25 from 10am to 5pm.

We are also proud to welcome acclaimed actor and writer HERBERT SIGÜENZA, who will serve as the Special Guest Emcee for the event. Herbert is a co-founder of the legendary comedy troupe CULTURE CLASH, and is a star of the Disney/Pixar film COCO and the superhero film BEN 10: ALIEN SWARM.
