Fridley ‘49er Days Annual community event & parade celebrating the year Fridley was incorporated as a city back in 1949! It's success is due to its volunteers and we need you!

Annual outdoor event, for the Fridley, MN community hosted at Commons and Community Parks. Fridley '49er Days features a parade, games or inflatables, Lion's beverage tent, food vendors, FHS all class reunion, fireworks, live music, entertainment, and kids events. Please contact us if you are interested in participating in the event or have ideas or would like to volunteer.

We’re excited to share that the Fridley 49er Days Festival has been moved from June to July. The new dates for 2026 are July 16–18 — mark your calendars!

The 2026 event will kick off with the Fridley Lions Parade on Thursday, a Car Show and Movie in the Park on Friday, and on Saturday, we’ll host the Commons Park Grand Opening event and art dedication— each day will be filled with food trucks and musical performances!

Fridley 49er Days Parade registration is now open!

We welcome all local groups, organizations, and teams to sign up for the parade, which will take place on Thursday, July 16.
