🥤➡️🚶 Tonight's motto: Sip... then Stroll.

With an Excessive Heat Advisory in effect, we're putting a little extra emphasis on the sip part of Sip & Stroll.

Take your time, cool off inside the art galleries and participating businesses, enjoy your favorite beverage, and don't forget to drink plenty of water throughout the evening.

✔️ Stay hydrated.
✔️ Take breaks in the air conditioning.
✔️ Wear lightweight clothing.
✔️ Look out for your friends.

🎨 July First Friday is ON!

Downtown Fredericksburg is ready for another great First Friday and Sip & Stroll. While an Excessive Heat Advisory is in effect, the event is still happening, and we encourage everyone to take a few extra precautions to stay safe while enjoying the evening.

💧 Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water.
🏛️ Take breaks by stepping inside a participating art gallery/businesses to cool off.
🧢 Wear lightweight clothing and sun protection.
❤️ Know your limits and when to call it a day.

Please remember that extreme heat can affect anyone, so take your time and enjoy all that downtown has to offer safely.

The Find Freddy Scavenger Hunt is back!🎨🔍

Freddy, downtown Fredericksburg's favorite fashion-forward paintbrush, has returned to galleries across the city, and he's ready to be found.

As you explore downtown, stop by participating galleries to track down Freddy, collect unique stickers, earn stamps in the Visit FXBG app, and discover the incredible local art scene along the way.
