City of Fraser, Michigan - Government is having the City-Wide Curb Appeal Competition: Fraser - Red, White & YOU! To celebrate the 250 years of American history. The winners will be announced at The 2026 Fraser Lions Club Carnival right after the parade.

Join your Fraser family, friends, coworkers, and neighbors in celebrating 250 years of American history when you show your patriotic and civic pride in the City-Wide Curb Appeal Competition: Fraser - Red, White & YOU!

Residents and business owners alike can participate as our nation and the City of Fraser join with communities across the United States to commemorate the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

Make U.S. and Fraser history by decorating your home or business! Encouraged elements include, but are not limited to, vintage buntings and flags, floral arrangements and plantings in red, white, and blue, along with local, regional, and national flag and banner displays. Entries will be judged on three criteria: creativity and originality, incorporation of themes, and community spirit.

Once you've finished your display, register and upload your photo by Sunday, July 12 at https://www.frasercitymi.gov/FormCenter/CityWide-Events-9/2026-CityWide-Curb-Appeal-Competition-90

A panel of judges will decide the winners, who will be announced at the City Picnic immediately following the Fraser Parade on Sunday, July 26!

CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS!

Keep the celebration of the United States Semiquincentennial going past Fourth of July when you sign up to participate in the 2026 Fraser Parade on Sunday, July 26!

This year’s theme, “America 250,” honors 250 years of U.S. history, pride, and patriotism.

Be part of this joyous jubilee by marching in this beloved annual event. Local businesses, civic and school organizations, non-profits groups - If you're interested in joining us, we're interested in having you. PLEASE NOTE: You DO NOT need to live, work, or go to school in Fraser to sign up for the parade.

PARADE LOGISTICS:
Starting location: Fraser High School Park Lot, 34270 Garfield Road
Staging Begins: 10 AM
Final Line-Up: 11:15 AM
Parade Begins: 12 PM
Ending Location: Fraser City Hall/Steffens Park, 33000 Garfield Road

The parade will follow its traditional route, moving south on Garfield Road from Fraser High School, passing 14 Mile Road, where it will will conclude at Fraser City Hall/Steffens Park. Participants and viewers can then head into the Fraser Lions Club Carnival for its final day, which concludes with its fireworks display that evening.
