🚜💚 A SPECIAL DONATION TO MILE BRANCH SETTLEMENT! 💚🚜

The Washington Parish Free Fair’s Mile Branch Settlement recently received a generous donation of a 1930 John Deere tractor and a collection of antique farm implements!

This special donation was made by young Hayes Williams in loving memory of his Paw Paw, the late Everette Smith. Joining Hayes for this meaningful occasion were his Nanna, JoAnn Evans Smith, and his parents, Ben and Haley Smith Williams.

Mile Branch Chairman Lee Davis was thrilled to welcome this piece of agricultural history to the settlement. The tractor has found a special home overlooking Everette’s favorite spot in Mile Branch—the Cracklin Stand! ❤️

More than just a piece of farming history, this tractor serves as a lasting tribute to Everette and the memories he made at Mile Branch. It will help preserve our agricultural heritage for generations to come.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Hayes and the entire family for this thoughtful donation and for allowing Everette’s memory to remain a special part of Mile Branch Settlement.

Preserving the past, honoring those who came before us, and sharing our heritage with future generations. ❤️💛💚
