What an incredible evening at the JayBird Event Center Grand Opening! 🩵🩶🩵 We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who played a part in making our event such a success.
A special thank you to the Dean King Band for providing entertainment throughout the evening that helped create a lively atmosphere. We are truly grateful for their time, talent, and effort. Thank you to the talented men and women who shared their gifts of gospel music with us afterward. We are also grateful to H2O Party Rental for helping us make this event possible to include fun for the kids.
Thank you to Sherman Davis for grilling and to Steve Branch, Greg McKenzie, Paula Fortenberry, Heidi Woodward, Mrs. Ester Lou Spears, and Mrs. Billie Sue Spears for cooking. We also want to thank them all for their hard work and support. Thank you to Sarah Torres for providing the delicious cookies and adding a sweet touch to the celebration.
We thank the Washington Chamber of Commerce, Parish President Ryan Seal, and Councilman Steve Branch for their support and participation in the ceremony. Thank you to K Lynn Barber for taking several of the wonderful photos shared here and helping us capture the memories of this special day.
There are so many family members and friends who helped with planning, setup, cleanup, and countless other tasks. We hesitate to start naming everyone because we don’t want to accidentally leave anyone out. Please know that every act of kindness, every helping hand, and every contribution meant so much to us.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to each and every person who came out to celebrate with us and make this day so special. We truly could not have done it without you! What a blessing to live in such a caring and supportive community.
