What happens when bourbon meets the Mississippi River?

At The Ingram Distillery in Columbus, Kentucky, whiskey ages in a way unlike anywhere else in the world, floating on barges along the river that helped shape bourbon history in the first place.

This short film explores the story behind The Ingram Distillery’s river-aged bourbon through conversations with founder Hank Ingram and master blender Scott Beyer, diving into experimentation, tradition, innovation, and the unique environment that gives their whiskey its character.

More than just a distillery tour, this film is about place, process, and the people behind the whiskey.

Presented by Bourbon on the Banks.

Big things are happening at River View Park—home of the Bourbon on the Banks Festival! 🥃

We’re excited to share that improvements are underway, including expanded sidewalks to make setup and breakdown smoother than ever, plus additional electrical access to better support vendors and events throughout the park.

Huge shoutout to the City of Frankfort and Parks & Rec team for helping make this happen!

These upgrades are all about making an already incredible festival space even better! 🎉

For more than two decades, this pavilion has been a place where community came together.

Today, we’re honored to help preserve that legacy.

Bourbon on the Banks Festival has purchased the historic pavilion formerly operated by the Franklin County Farmers Market and officially donated it to the City of Frankfort to ensure it remains a public gathering space for years to come.

Now named The Bourbon on the Banks Festival Pavilion, the structure will continue serving community events and festival operations until future riverfront developments — while honoring the history built here over the last 22 years.

Thank you to the Franklin County Farmers Market and the City of Frankfort for helping make this possible.

Here’s to preserving history and creating new memories together. 🥃
