The morning of our Annual Stockholder's Meeting, the Clinton County Board of Comissioners had terminated the lease. Therefore, a new plan with new members will be assigned. If you would like to be a candidate to become a member, please contact the Commissioner's Office. Thank you!!

Our Clinton County 4-H & Fair Annual Stockholder's Association Meeting held September 19, 7pm, continued as planned. Attendance was at a high, and we would like to thank you for coming and making your vote count!
Nominations of the new board members were open and taken from the floor by our shareholders. The results of their voting by paper ballot included 5 current members, 2 of whom are continuing from 2012, and chose the following upcoming 3/2/1 year terms:
3 year term- Bryan Stillwell, Stan Frazier, Betty Trimble.
2 year term - Megan Meyer and Jeff Bray.
Two new members voted in were Brock Walker, who chose a term of 2 years, while Patrick Cowan chose a 1 year term.
Motion carried. Nominations accepted.
Despite rumors or one-sided views and statements given to the media, we, The Clinton County 4-H & Fair Association, think this team of 7 hard-working and experienced members providing already the best of volunteers, will continue to increase revenue, as proven.
Our main goal is to have our County Commissioners and the 4-H
Fair Association unite as a community.
We will continue our upcoming events as previously scheduled. We will keep you up to date every step of the way.

The fee of $1.00 per person (or $5 per car) is to improve the fairgounds, itself, as it needs continued improvement, hence our motto on our signs, "Dollar for Tomorrow". This price is only charged after 4pm.
The parade is set up by the 4-H Extension Office, so whoever signs up is what we have to work with for that particular year.
Also, the rides are a completely different entity entirely. We hire them and they make the prices, which is out of our control. We, as a Fair Board, try to find the best carnival rides and prices to suit Clinton County.
We are always interested in volunteers to make the fair the best it can be. If you would like to volunteer or have ideas for improvement, please do so at our administration building or by emailing [email protected]
We hope to have your family back next year, to make 2017 the best it can possibly be.

Who is going to take the trophies tonight at the clinton county fairgrounds demolition derby at 7pm. 10,000 purse
