The Spirit of Kentucky Air Race is coming to Capital City Airport in Frankfort — a cross-country race that pairs precision flying with Kentucky's other great tradition: bourbon. Pilots race a course dotted with waypoints along the Bourbon Trail, and every dollar raised supports DreamFlight Charities' mission to open the cockpit door for Kentucky students.
