Indiana Bastille Day Save the date! Indiana Bastille Day will take place on Saturday, July 11th, 2015 from 11am to 11pm in

This year’s Indiana Bastille Day will keep participants entertained in a very Parisian atmosphere thanks to an authentic French singer. A pétanque tournament and several marionette shows will entertain both young and old. A wine, beer and cider garden will provide opportunities to try a variety of specially chosen beverages for the occasion. A Waiters' Race will challenge wanna-be waiters to get t

o the finish line without spilling water or dropping their tray altogether. Budding artists will get a chance to learn to paint in a very Montmartre-like “Paint in the Park” setting. Costumed performers will add a historical dimension to the event. Little ones will have the opportunity to make candlelight lanterns for the traditional lantern procession at dusk. And a one-of-a-kind laser light show will elicit oohs and aahs from the crowd while prompting children to break into dance. Organized by Six Feet Up, Indiana Bastille Day is a free family event for anybody interested in experiencing a bit of French culture and joie de vivre right in the heart of Indiana. This year's Indiana Bastille Day was a huge success with over 5,000 visitors and some coming from as far as Dayton, OH, Chicago, IL and Cincinnati, OH!
