Quick update! Yesterday we posted on Facebook about an urgent food rescue opportunity here in Fort Wayne.

Food Rescue US rescued 1,300 boxes of bell peppers that are now available FREE to anyone. Can you believe these would have all gone to landfill if it wasn't for Food Rescue US?

Friday, 9/11 head over to 2 Toms brewing on N. Wells Street to claim as many boxes as you need. Please share as this is time sensitive!

ATTENTION FOOD RESCUE ORGANIZATIONS!

We've been alerted that Food Rescue is receiving 1,300 boxes of bell peppers tomorrow, Friday 9/11. Normally Food Rescue would distribute these to organizations in need, but considering the volume they need assistance getting them out to organizations in need.

FREE PEPPERS!

🫑Who can pick up? Any nonprofit, community organization, church, food pantry, or food relief organization.

🫑Where is pick up? 2 Toms Brewery, 3676 N Wells Street

🫑When is pick up? 8 am on Friday, 9/11/26

Friends! You can find Eco Fest at Fiesta Fort Wayne this weekend running our Zero Waste Station!

WHAT TO EXPECT
🚯 No trash cans here! Anything that you need to dispose of can be taken to our waste station, located near the dining area under the green tent. Our trained staff will sort all items into trash, compost, and recycling.

Traditional Folkloric Dancing – Piñatas, Family-friendly Activities, Tacos, Pupusas, and More!
