An Update from the Elm & Ivy Family 🏛️

It’s been far too long since we’ve connected with our amazing Fort Recovery and surrounding communities! While we’ve been quieter on social media, we wanted to share what’s happening behind the scenes.

The Elm Room Update:

Our 1940’s chapel event venue is still under renovation as we navigate the permit process for to make The Elm Room venue accessible to all. We’re working diligently with local authorities to make this dream a reality, and while we’re eager to welcome celebrations, we’re committed to doing things right. We understand how excited our community is for this venue, and we’re hopeful to be hosting events this year - though the timeline depends on factors beyond our control.

But Here’s the Good News! ✨

Our Ivy Lounge continues to operate and ready to welcome groups for overnight stays! This unique underground accommodation sleeps up to 10 guests comfortably and features:

✨ Thank You to Our First Ivy Lounge Guests!

We're absolutely thrilled to have hosted our very first guests in the Ivy Lounge last night! To the wonderful bridal party who celebrated with us – thank you for choosing our speakeasy-inspired space for your special pre-wedding celebration.

Seeing our underground venue come alive with laughter and joy as you gathered for this bridal shower/bachelorette party was truly magical. We hope you enjoyed the handmade shuffleboard table, custom bar, and cozy conversation areas that make this space so unique.

As a family-owned venue dedicated to honoring our building's historic character while creating exceptional experiences, having you as our first guests was the perfect beginning to Elm & Ivy's story. The 1940s chapel above may have been quiet, but the Ivy Lounge below was filled with the exact kind of celebration we envisioned when creating this space.

Wishing the bride-to-be all the happiness in the world as she continues her journey! We hope the memories made here in Fort Recovery will be cherished for years to come.
