IT’S CONFERENCE WEEK!!! 🌿

We can hardly believe it — Saturday is almost here! We have been praying, planning, gathering, and preparing for this day, and we cannot WAIT to have you all under one roof.

A few things to start thinking about as you get ready:

🌿 Plan for lunch! You’ll have an hour to grab lunch, connect with others, and enjoy some of what Fort Payne has to offer. We’ll be sharing more lunch details this week so you can plan ahead.

🚗 Carpool if you can! We’re expecting a full house, so if you’re coming with friends or family, consider riding together.

🤍 And if you’re able, consider making this an adult day. We absolutely love families and children are welcome, but this conference is designed to give you a full day to learn, connect, ask questions, meet local resources, and simply breathe. If you have the option to leave the kiddos with someone for the day, we encourage you to take it!

Most importantly — come ready to connect. You never know who you’ll meet, what you’ll learn, or what conversation the Lord may use to encourage you.

Saturday is almost here. WE CAN’T WAIT! 🌿

ONE WEEK. 😭🎉

I truly cannot believe we are ONE WEEK away from the Wellness Conference! What started as an idea and a whole lot of prayer is now just days away, and I am SO excited to see this room full of people who care about their health, their families, their communities, and living well. 🤍

We cannot wait to spend the day with you! A few reminders as you make your plans:

📍 Doors open at 8:30 AM
We’ll get started at 9:00 AM, so come early, grab a coffee from The Spot's coffee truck, visit the vendors, and get settled in!

🚗 Carpool if you can!
We’re expecting a great crowd, so if you’re able to ride together, we definitely encourage it! It’s a great way to make arriving a little easier and bring a friend along.

👨‍👩‍👧 A note about children:
Families are absolutely welcome and no family will be turned away because of children. We love that! ❤️ However, if you have the option, we do encourage adult-only attendance so you can fully relax, participate, listen, connect, and enjoy the day without having to divide your attention.

🥪 Lunch:
You have options!

• Pre-order a boxed lunch from Vintage 1889 when you arrive — $12, with your choice of pimento cheese, ham & cheese, or chicken salad.
• Or, you’re welcome to leave during lunch and explore some of our local restaurants!

And several local businesses are welcoming conference attendees with special offers:

🌿 The Rooted Table Cafe — 10% off
🍕 Mater's — 10% off
🔥 Roadside 'Que — 10% off
🥐 The Bakehouse Downtown — free pastry with purchase of a meal

So whether you stay at the venue or head out and support a local business, you’ll have plenty of options!

⏰ The day's activities will wrap up around 3:00 PM, though our vendors will remain open until 4:00 PM if you’d like extra time to shop, visit, ask questions, and connect.

And don't forget—we have an incredible lineup of speakers, local resources, vendors, giveaways, and opportunities to connect with others who are on this journey too. 🤍

ONE WEEK!!! We cannot wait to see you.

Farm Spotlight: Cronan Creek Honeybees & Supplies 🍯

We’re excited to introduce Cronan Creek Honeybees & Supplies, a new local business and first-generation beekeeping family building their apiary from the ground up!

At Cronan Creek, their focus is on raising strong, healthy, thriving honeybee colonies through responsible beekeeping practices, careful hive management, and a commitment to the long-term health of their bees. Their goal isn’t simply to produce honey—it’s to care for their bees, strengthen their colonies, and build a sustainable beekeeping operation that can grow for generations to come.

As they grow, Cronan Creek will offer:

🍯 Local honey & hive products
🏠 Beekeeping supplies & equipment
🐝 Swarm removal services
🌻 Pollination services
📚 Beekeeping education & support
✨ And eventually, honey-based skincare products!

We’re especially excited to see this new business growing in our community and look forward to the educational opportunities they hope to offer as they continue to build their apiary and share their knowledge of honeybees and responsible beekeeping.

We’re thrilled to have Cronan Creek Honeybees & Supplies joining us at the Wellness Conference! 🐝

🌾 FARM TABLE SPOTLIGHT: Three Measures Sourdough

We’re excited to have Three Measures Sourdough represented at our farm table at The Wellness Conference!

Caroline Freeman began her sourdough journey in 2022 after welcoming her triplet girls. In 2025, she felt the Lord leading her to pursue her cottage bakery license and use her baking to help support her family.

The name Three Measures Sourdough comes from Jesus’ words in Luke 13:20–21, where He compares the Kingdom of God to leaven hidden in three measures of flour until it is all leavened.

It’s a beautiful picture of how God can take something that begins small and use it to spread far beyond what we can see. Caroline loves that sourdough provides a tangible reminder of that truth—the smallest amount of starter can work its way through an entire loaf.

🍞 Three Measures Sourdough offers:
• Naturally fermented sourdough breads & baked goods
• Cinnamon rolls, English muffins, cookies & specialty flavors
• Fresh, locally made cottage-bakery goods

Caroline loves the science behind sourdough and enjoys experimenting with new flavors and learning along the way. She also loves sharing what she has learned with others—in fact, she recently had the opportunity to teach at Camp Skyline Ranch, where 44 girls went home with their own sourdough starters!

You can find Three Measures Sourdough at the local farmers market at the Fort Payne VFW, with in-town drop-off options also available.

We’re grateful to have Three Measures Sourdough represented at the Wellness Conference and to highlight another local maker who is combining food, family, faith, and community. ❤️

🌿 SPEAKER SPOTLIGHT: Casey Brown, BSN, RN, CHHC🌿

We’re wrapping up the day with Casey Brown, registered nurse, founder of the Wellness Conference, owner of Valley & Vine Wellness, Certified Holistic Health Coach, and author of Healing at Home.

Casey’s journey into wellness began with her career in nursing, but over the years, the Lord has continued to reshape the way she understands health, healing, and what it means to care for the bodies He has entrusted to us.

In her closing session, “Rethinking Wellness: A Nurse’s Personal Journey,” Casey will share a little of that journey—including experiences that have challenged, refined, and deepened her understanding of health and healing.

She’ll explore what it means to steward our health while keeping our trust firmly in the Lord, and how our faith, our choices, our thoughts, and the way we approach health all fit into that bigger picture.

This won't be a conversation about choosing conventional medicine or natural medicine. It will be about seeking wisdom, making thoughtful choices, and ultimately remembering who our healer is.

Because we can use good food, good remedies, good medicine, knowledgeable practitioners, and every resource available to us—but God is still the healer. 🤍

We’re so excited to close out the day together and hope you’ll stay with us for this final session!

We cannot wait to see you there! 🌿

✨ Speaker Spotlight: Dr. Blake Isbell ✨

Few names are more recognizable in our community than Dr. Blake Isbell.

After graduating from the University of Alabama School of Medicine, Dr. Isbell dedicated 40 years to serving women and families as a board-certified OB/GYN. For generations, his family has cared for mothers and babies in our area, making his voice one that many have come to know and trust.

This September, Dr. Isbell will share something many have never heard before—his personal journey, the experiences that challenged long-held assumptions, and why he has become passionate about reexamining the history and development of vaccines.

Session Topic: Follow the $cience

Drawing from his decades of medical experience and his own research, Dr. Isbell will discuss the history of infectious disease and vaccination, lessons learned from the COVID-19 era, and why he believes it's important to ask questions, evaluate evidence, and think critically.

Whether you agree with his conclusions or are simply interested in hearing the perspective of a physician with decades of clinical experience, this promises to be one of the conference's most thought-provoking sessions.
