This Memorial Day, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who served our country.
Our building—the historic former post gym used by soldiers during World War I and World War II—stands as a living reminder of those who once trained, gathered, and passed through this very place on their way to defend freedom around the world.
As part of the legacy of Fort Oglethorpe, we invite the community to reflect, remember, and give thanks to all who served and sacrificed. May we never forget the courage, dedication, and commitment of those who came before us and helped secure the freedoms we enjoy today.
