Announcing Our 2026-2027 Youth Theatre Season: A Journey of Grit, Grace, and Groundbreaking Stories
We are thrilled to unveil a season that spans the depths of the underworld, the intensity of the soccer field, and the iconic streets of New York City. This year, we invite you to witness stories of resilience, coming-of-age, and the enduring power of love.

1. Hadestown: Teen Edition
Music, Lyrics, and Book by AnaĂŻs Mitchell
Kick off the season with this vibrant, high-energy adaptation of the 8-time Tony Award-winning musical. Hadestown intertwines two mythic tales—that of young dreamers Orpheus and Eurydice, and Hades and his wife Persephone—inviting you on a hell-raising journey to the underworld and back.
The Vibe: Folk-meets-jazz, hauntingly beautiful, and deeply soulful.
Why You Can’t Miss It: This “Teen Edition” preserves the industrial-chic magic of the original while showcasing the raw talent and vocal prowess of our incredible youth ensemble.

2. The Wolves
By Sarah DeLappe
Shift gears from the underworld to the suburban soccer field. The Wolves follows nine high school girls during their pre-game warm-ups. As they stretch and kick, their conversations veer from genocide to pop culture to the complexities of their own changing lives.
The Vibe: Hyper-realistic, fast-paced, and unflinchingly honest.
Why You Can’t Miss It: A Pulitzer Prize finalist, this play offers a rare, unfiltered look at the strength, vulnerability, and fierce competitive spirit of young women.

3. West Side Story
Based on a Conception of Jerome Robbins
Book by Arthur Laurents | Music by Leonard Bernstein | Lyrics by Stephen Sondheim
We close our season with arguably the greatest musical of all time. Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet is transported to the 1950s New York City streets, where Tony and Maria find themselves caught between warring gangs, the Jets and the Sharks.
The Vibe: Cinematic, legendary, and heartbreakingly romantic.
Why You Can’t Miss It: Featuring a timeless score including “Tonight,” “America,” and “Somewhere,” our production will honor the classic choreography while bringing a fresh, visceral energy to this story of passion and prejudice. STAY TUNED FOR AUDITIONS
