*distances are subject to change within in the acceptable ranges for a sprint*
Eagle Sprint Triathlon Registration Prices:
$65 (through 2/4/2018)
$75 (2/6/2017 – 3/11/2018)
$85 (3/13/2017 – 4/13/2018)
$100 (race weekend; check/cash only)
Relays: $150 for teams of 2-3 participants
**Entries will only be accepted online through April 4. Mailed entries must be post marked by April 1, or brought in person on race day. No refunds or transfers.**
SWIM
This race features a .25 mile open water swim in Lake Como, located right on campus at the FGCU Waterfront. BIKE
The 10 mile bike will begin and end near Alico Arena, taking riders around two loops through campus near North Lake Village, Main Campus, and South Village. RUN
The 5K run will conclude the event, with the course sending athletes around the FGCU campus loop road. Athletes will complete the sprint triathlon near Alico Arena. AWARDS
Awards will be given for the top 3 male and female athletes overall, as well as in the following age groups (no duplicates): 1-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+, and Relay Teams. RAISING FUNDS FOR STUDENT DEVELOPMENT
Race proceeds will be used to fund development opportunities for Florida Gulf Coast University students. Through attending conferences and workshops, the students will be able to bring new ideas back to the campus community, and develop valuable connections for their future careers. MORE INFORMATION
