For Fine Arts Friday, we had several PLDMS band students participate in the middle school band night hosted by Lehigh Senior High School! The middle school students were able to practice with the high schoolers and play pep band tunes in the stand for the football game.

It’s not too late to sign up to future middle school band nights in the area! Symphonic band, jazz band, and wind ensemble students should check their Google Classrooms for more information!

For Fine Arts Friday, let's take a look at what the Theater 2 and Theater 3 students are up to!
Looks like they are picking their end of year shows by acting out "commercials" about the shows for their classmates to vote on! It looks like everyone is having a great time!

We had our first Fine ARTS Friday of the year! We encourage faculty, staff, and students to wear their Fine Arts spirit shirts on Fridays to promote creativity, culture, and community at our school.

Those are also our core values of the newly formed PLDMS Fine Arts Alliance! The Fine Arts teachers in collaboration with colleagues, administration, parents, students, and other stakeholders make up this group to enhance and enrich the education of our Fine Arts students.

Anyone who is interested in helping our programs thrive should attend the first PLDMS School Advisory Council (“SAC”) meeting on August 31st. More info is coming your way soon!

Our perfroming arts students have been hard at work this summer and continue to shine in the theatrical community.
Thank you to Val and Izzy for helping backstage for The Gypsy Playhouse Theater camp's production of Disney's Descendants The Musical! Only 2 chances to come see this amazing show! Thursday 7/23 & Friday 7/24 at 6:30 PM.
