The American Sand Sculpting Championship, Ft. Myers Beach, FL

The American Sand Sculpting Championship, Ft. Myers Beach, FL Save the date! Nov. 19-23, 2026 the American Sand Sculpting Championship makes its triumphant return! In all over 2000 tons of sand will be piled and sculpted.

Unfortunately, due to COVID, the event has been postponed for the second year in a row and is scheduled to return in November 2022. Come join us on Fort Myers Beach for the Annual American Sand Sculpting Championship traditionally held during Thanksgiving week. This is a fun-filled event that includes World Class Master Sand Sculptors, a State Championship contest, Amateur contest, Quick Sand Speed Sculpting, Sand Sculpting Demonstrations, a kids activity area, live music and more than 50 vendors. The event is traditionally scheduled for 10 days, the first week holding the Master Solos and Amateur divisions. The second week is the Master Doubles and Advanced Amateur (Florida State Championship) divisions.
