Friends….this is a friend to the FMB community. She is a dear friend of mine. Tasha raised tens of thousands of dollars from her community to help mine after Hurricane Ian. She orchestrated 4 semi trucks to be delivered to Buttonwood in the first few days. She never fails to call and check on us before, during and after storms. If she asks (which is never for herself), I’m in. Can you help?

As you all know, the Beach Theater was sold in May 2022. Suddenly. The Film Festival had just ended and we had some stuff stored there. We did our best to get to everything out in time but did not get our Director’s Chairs or lights out. Today, we found out the new owners SOLD our chairs. After a major hurricane. Without calling or emailing us. We have been in existence since 2002. Thanks Steve Boge, William Raveis Real Estate, Mortgage & Insurance and Signature Vacation Properties for hitting us when we are down and out. You are definitely NOT a part of the Fort Myers Beach Community. Hope you made a ton of money off our stolen property. Thank you to the donor who secured them for us. Janeen

In emergency response to the devastation on Fort Myers Beach caused by Hurricane Ian, a category 4 storm which brought an historically high storm surge and wind speeds in excess of 110 miles per hour, the Fort Myers Beach Community Foundation in coordination with Barefoot Event Group has re-engaged....
