What a long, great trip it's been. Headed out soon on the last leg of our journey. Glad we were able to share the Blue Ridge Parkway portion with friends on their first extended cycling tour. We experienced the usual aggressive and distracted drivers, crap roads, and general disregard for cycling infrastructure, but are still here to ride another day. I think our next journey might require thicker tires and be mostly on extended and linked bike trails. More research to follow. If you are out riding A1A between Vero and Ft. Lauderdale today be sure to say hi. :)
