That is a wrap on an incredible week at the 2026 Custom Shootout!

Huge congratulations to all the winners who were recognized at the Awards Dinner! The skill and sportsmanship on display throughout this tournament were truly world-class, and it was an honor for the FDDA and mtu teams to sponsor the evening and celebrate alongside such an elite fleet.

We were also incredibly honored to share our video, "Boat Builder Legends," during Friday night's dinner honoring the custom boat builders.

Day 2 is here at the Custom Shootout, and the energy at the Abaco Beach Resort is electric!

Day 1 set the bar for the fleet, with some incredible action on the water. So far, an impressive 136 total billfish releases:

38 Blue Marlin
59 White Marlin
39 Sailfish

The competition is heating up, and we can’t wait to see what today brings. Best of luck to all the crews heading back out — let’s see if Day 2 can top those numbers!
